Wire Infrared

It's S-Air technology for Sony right?
I mean that the signal is sometimes referred to as sputtering economic infrared, like a radio signal. Or is it works as bluetooth, when things do in the way to the reception. Is it as good as cable?
It's RF, so it will not be as reliable as cable. Performance can vary, but can not make it work. Problems with RF is likely to drift from time to time and not work, then work again, before back. Zigby seek Zwave or place, which are also RF. The difference is that nobody is willing to build to the specifications of Sony, if Sony will lock in and not the best option for much of anything. In picture on the tube, nothing beats a Trinitron tube, but this time is gone, and Sony has tried to replicate the success that since then, without much success.
