Social Networking Sites - Viruses Now Target Facebook, MySpace and Twitter

The growing popularity of social networking, and the natural inclination to trust links from friends on these sites is now being exploited!

If you get a message from a friend on Facebook which invites you to watch this funny or sexy video it is likely you’ll click on the link, watc the video and have a bit of a giggle! Well your trusting nature could lead to your computer becoming infected with a worm virus which installs itself by asking you to update your version of the Adobe Flash Player.

Only problem is you are not really installing the Adobe Player, you are installing the virus instead when you click on the link to upgrade the Adobe Player!

You do not need to download any programs to view YouTube videos so if you are asked to download any kind of software to watch a video, just ignore that link! So far this virus has been linked to friend messages from Myspace, Facebook and Twitter
