What can I do to get more Local Business Web?
DJ I have a Minnesota company. www.yourminnesotadj.com want more traffic to my site. So far, I use Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, Twitter, X3, 4 blogs in Blogger, WordPress 4 blogs, social bookmarking, Google Local, the referral sites Wedding, YouTube and others video sites, direct mail and craigslist. You think I'm out of press freedom or more. I am like Google AdWords ads on Facebook and MySpace advertising.
For DJ services, I guess word of mouth is the most valuable form of advertising. Give your customers cards and ask them to refer others to you – if satisfied with their service, they (I mean new people I've met a DJ for 10 years, giving thousands of dollars of business). You may also want consider redesigning your website. Images that are there now are distorted (I looked for a few minutes, and still can not say what the events the next image is supposed to be). With business web sites, in my opinion, simpler is better. Making information people tend to find, easy access to simple, distorted images. The lower section (right under "Contact") is much cleaner and easier to find what its users are seeking. The other piece that appears to be missing in your website is under Testimonials. For a DJ, is crucial. You can also have playlists sample recent events have played. If you have a site of value, people will grow more customers than that. For example, you may want to add links to sites with words, or a list of your favorite lyrics misheard. You can also add a blog directly on your site, to talk lately that you've played, interesting stories on how to compose their playlists, the best settings for sound and lights, etc.
