Mini Dvr
Recommendations on products to get my DirecTV DVR and VHS on my computer.
Hello and thank you for reading. I have read several charges and wants recommendations based on personal experience for specific products to capture the video my DirecTV DVR, my JVC mini DV camcorder and VHS tapes and record the output on my PC or laptop that you want on my hard hard so I can work with him and then burn to DVD, then delete it. No, I think they want to capture directly to DVD. I looked at the unit Pinnacle Dazzle, but it seems to be captured directly to DVD. Hauppauge seems to have some good products. I prefer an external drive, you can use on my computer laptop or PC. In addition, I will have problems if you use a USB cable, over 20 feet so you can get on the PC? Thank you for reading. When I mentioned the USB cable, I meant between the video capture device and the computer, not the DVR.
The USB ports on the DVR are for future features .. You'd be available to make things as load scheduling on the computer to burn DVDs .. When I was workign for Directv was not .. available, and I have a friend who works there and hadnt said anything about .. I do not think they have any legal issues and software completed or are perhaps waiting for a particular date, but .. Hey! Would not hurt to give a call.
