Acer Aspire 5100 screen is black?
The brightness of the keyboard is the path. The contrast, gamma and brightness in the menu is all the way too. Help please ... (Can be something to do with drive or something) ... I read somewhere ... thank you
More than likely the backlight is out. If under warranty, return to ACER, and should solve it. If it is not under warranty, you may organize a tax (probably 200-300 dollars), or application against the light that exist elsewhere, LCDParts.net. This process can be very difficult and requires soldering electrical components. If you do not feel comfortable with that, given the First Choice.
