Any ideas on how to help my baby sleep longer when my alarm goes off?

My almost 5 months of age is a very good bed. He sleeps from 8 pm-5: 00 pm (when my alarm goes off). I know he is awake. I problems to prepare for work in the morning because that is me and the children. My husband is away in the police academy in another 11 weeks. Your room is linked to ours there is no way he will not wake up. Ideas?

Trying to get a silent alarm, My husband used to use the alarm on your cell phone when reached under his pillow to keep me awake. Although your bed is not light work.
