I just bought a 3D USB 2.0 5.1 channel surround sound card.

I want to know my laptop Dell Latitude D520 has SigmaTel High Definition Audio, and I have an external USB 2.0 channel 5.1 surround sound card 3 and I know how I'll feel the power between my speakers and 3D surround portable 5.1 sound card powered by the USB port. There will be a quality difference between my laptop and sound card External USB 2.0 5.1-channel surround sound card 3D. Please explain to me, as I am confused and I think there is no difference and quality Sound is like my laptop 's sound card. Please help! actually bought the 3D USB 2.0 5.1 Surround 95p card. Help please!

I think you lose your money! Your computer already with 5.1 Dolby. All you need do is connect a set of surround speakers in doubt even be able to induce a difference in a set of computer speakers.
