Currently, I have an nVidia GeForce 8600GT with 256MB GDDR3 and I thought to pass the PNY XLR8 GeForce 8800 GT with 512MB GDDR3 ... Tell me what you think as me .... is small, cheap or should I go with the EVGA GeForce 9600 GT with 512MB GDDR3? Accept the 9600GT is .. garbage is not as powerful as the 8800GT. but really recommend the 4850. It was designed to blow the whole 8800 series. $ 174 to http://www.newegg.com. I have this configuration: Radeon 4850 Athlon X2 Original 4400@2.3ghz Acer OEM motherboard (MSI K9A2Platinum soon with 4x PCI-E 2.0 slots) 4 GB DDR2-667 RAM 2x 320GB SATA2 + 160GB IDE. 2 power supplies, I did that 450 Watt PSU for Radeon 4850 and IM pushing the rest of my system with 300 watts. In fact stolen 2 450 Watt PSU in my system.
